#767: Inkdit Rising Star Among Edmonton Startups
Many people may be aware of or use the email newsletter service called Mailout.
Gregg Oldring founded that company in 2001, just after he’d sold another very successful internet company he’d started.
Well, out of the blue in October of 2015, Gregg received a phone call from a large American firm that wanted to purchase Mailout.
With that sale now complete, Gregg Oldring is truly a serial entrepreneur, because he has another venture already on the go.
GREGG OLDRING: I’ve got another business called Inkdit that we started a couple of years back that has started to grow and that we’re going to raise some money and go hard after it now. So that’s been really exciting. So Inkdit is an electronic signature tool, so it’s a way to capture signatures online. And what’s really interesting about Inkdit is that we’re building a graph, like Facebook has a social graph, we’re building a graph that I think is much more interesting because the real identities of people and the relationships between these people and companies are the contracts and the documents that are made between them.
Gregg Oldring says what distinguishes Inkdit from other online document signing companies is its speed and information tracking capabilities.
